What do Constance Eve, Mary Lou Rath, Anucha Browne-Sanders, Joan Bozer, Linda Witte and Gabrielle Burton have in common? The answer might surprise you: They are all past recipients of EWOC’s Award of Excellence. These women, and dozens of others, have been recognized by Everywoman Opportunity Center for their contributions to the women of Western New York. Before any of these extraordinary women accepted their award, something else had to happen. A friend, a neighbor, or a colleague had to notice their trailblazing, their willingness to be leaders in their fields and in their community, and then nominate them for this recognition.
Each year since 1985, Everywoman has honored extraordinary women who have provided inspiration as path finders, risk takers and role models for women throughout Western New York with our Award of Excellence. As we celebrate our 35th year serving Western New York women in transition, Everywoman Opportunity Center will present this year’s Awards of Excellence at our 28th Annual Awards Dinner, to be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens.
Now is your chance to nominate an outstanding woman who you believe has gone above and beyond in her work to change the lives of women for the better. Nominations must be received by Wednesday, February 29, 2012.
We also invite you to consider becoming a corporate supporter, either by sponsoring the dinner or by placing an advertisement in our dinner program. Your investment will enhance our work and mission, enable participants to attend the dinner, and publicize your name and goodwill throughout the WNY community. We encourage you to send sponsorship forms early, to receive maximum media exposure. Sponsorships and advertisement reservations must be received by Monday, April 16, 2012.
